In this tutorial we will cover DNS name installation and how to setup hosted WordPress blog. so please follow the steps.

1. Setup WordPress on domain and hosting:

Our half work is done now we will setup our hosting service on domain and then install the WordPress on our hosting.

Step 1:

You have get your web hosting details on your registered email id hostgator sent you DNS server name, cpanel login details ftp details. We have to setup the DNS name on our domain so just follow the steps.
Login to your namecheap account and then click “Number of domains in your account” view.
After clicking view you get the list of domains you purchased. So click on domain in which you want to setup dns name.
In left side click on Domain name server setup.
Enter your dns name that you have get in your registered email and save changes.
Its all done you have successfully setup your dns name. Now we move to next step to testing your dns name successfully setup or not? And then install wordpress.

Step 2:

Login to your hosting cpanel and going to file manager “public_html” creating a file “testing.html” and copy paste this code and save it. upload it into file manager “public_html”.

Step 3:

Go to cpanel then in module “softaculous apps installer” click on WordPress. Softaculous provide you the one click installation of WordPress and it is very easy to use.
Click on install and fill the details

Choose protocol: choose appropriate protocol I choose for tricks academy is http://www.

Choose domain: choose yourdomainname.com

In directory: if you want to host your blog in your domain name like http://www.yourdomain.com just leave this field blank or want to host in category like http://www.yourdomain.com/blog or wp type accordingly.

Table Prefix: wp_

Site Name: Type your blog name

Site description: Type your blog description

Admin user name: type your username

Admin password : select your wordpress login password.

Admin Email: type your email id

Advance option: In advance option you can select database name or set frequency of database backup it’s up to you it’s not necessary but for security purpose I advised you please select database backup in a month.

Click on install button before click just fills the email installation box by your email id so you get all installation details. It will take 3-4 minutes and you have done. After compilation you will get links to login in admin panel something like this :

For Admin panel: www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin

Website: www.yourdomain.com
